Salty Brook Counseling Mental Health Counseling

I recognize the profound impact that mental health has on people and their well-being, and I believe that everyone deserves access to support, guidance, and a safe space to express their thoughts and feelings. I believe that all people have incredible potential for change, and that they can unlock their full potential through the counseling process by stepping outside of their comfort zones and tackling life’s struggles. I walk alongside people to help them harness their own resilience, determination, and capacity for growth to find solutions and reach their goals.

You’ve got options—but not all therapies are the same.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) helps you heal from trauma, anxiety, and depression in just a few sessions—without machines or medication.

While eTMS can require daily treatments for weeks, ART gets to the root—gently, powerfully, and quickly.

📲 Ready to feel better fast? Call or text (904) 323-3090 to schedule a free consultation.

🧠✨ Why Choose ART Over eTMS? ✨🧠
Looking for fast, effective relief from trauma, anxiety, or depression—without weeks of daily appointments or expensive machines?

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) offers real, lasting change in as little as 1–5 sessions. Unlike eTMS, which can require daily treatments for weeks and targets symptoms with magnetic pulses, ART helps you resolve the root cause of emotional distress by reprocessing traumatic memories—without having to talk about them in detail.

💡 Here’s why many clients prefer ART:
✔️ Quick results — most feel better in just a few sessions
✔️ No medication or devices
✔️ No need to relive trauma aloud
✔️ Targets PTSD, anxiety, depression, phobias, grief, and more
✔️ Backed by research and trusted by the military & first responders

You don’t have to stay stuck.
With ART, change is not just possible—it’s often faster than you think.

Why Choose Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) over EMDR?

Both ART and EMDR are powerful, evidence-based therapies for trauma—but many clients find that ART offers relief faster and with less emotional distress.

🔹 Faster Results – ART often resolves trauma in just 1–5 sessions, compared to EMDR which can take longer depending on the intensity of the trauma.

🔹 No Retelling Required – With ART, you don’t have to verbalize every detail of the painful memory. You stay in control while the brain reprocesses and stores it differently.

🔹 Less Emotional Flooding – ART uses calming eye movements and visualization techniques that help reduce distress in the moment, without reliving the trauma.

🔹 Clearer End Point – ART is protocol-driven and highly structured, so many clients report a distinct shift in their emotional response after just one session.

If you’ve tried EMDR or talk therapy and still feel stuck, ART may be the breakthrough you’ve been looking for. 💡

Don't sleep on this info...mental health is linked to mitochondrial function!

Mitochondrial health is crucial for mental well-being because mitochondria produce the energy needed for brain function, neurotransmitter production, and cellular repair. Dysfunctional mitochondria can lead to oxidative stress and inflammation, which are linked to mental health disorders like depression, anxiety, and cognitive decline.

What can you do to improve mitochondrial function?

Lifestyle factors like a nutrient-rich diet that minimizes carbohydrate intake, regular exercise, and adequate sleep help optimize mitochondrial health, promoting better mental clarity and emotional balance.

Giving grace to yourself means allowing room for mistakes, growth, and imperfection without harsh self-judgment. It’s about recognizing that you are human and deserving of kindness, just as you would offer to a friend. Instead of dwelling on failures, grace encourages learning and moving forward with compassion. Embracing grace fosters inner peace and resilience, helping you navigate life’s challenges with a softer, more forgiving heart. 💙
