What is an Otolaryngologist? An otolaryngologist is a surgical subspecialist commonly known as an ear, nose & throat doctor (ENT). Dr. Naseri received his surgical training in the department of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Emory University in Atlanta. He then completed a fellowship in Rhinology with a focus on skull base surgery at the University of Toronto, Canada. Dr. Naseri is currently a clinical assistant professor at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville. He has a busy clinical practice which cares for various complex ENT-related conditions. In addition to his clinical work, he is actively involved in teaching medical students and surgeons-in-training, in addition to staying active in various research projects geared toward improving surgical techniques and patient outcomes. Dr. Naseri has a lifelong commitment to maintaining a surgical practice using the latest in evidence-based research, techniques, and state-of-the-art to diagnose and treat various ENT related conditions. Each patient is treated with compassion and adherence to the highest moral and ethical principles. Although Dr. Naseri practices all aspects of his specialty, his clinical interests focus on the treatment of sinus & allergy disorders and paranasal/anterior skull base tumors. Clinical interests: Allergy/Rhinology: minimally invasive access to paranasal/anterior skull base tumors, reconstruction of anterior skull base defects (post-surgical/traumatic), CSF leak repairs, endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy, orbital/optic nerve decompression; obstructive sleep apnea; Upper airway disorders (laryngeal/tracheal stenosis); Head and neck endocrine surgery; Head and neck oncology.
