I love this idea! Who's with me?

Anita Stone, donated several birthcake kits to the pantry on Friday. Each kit was filled with everything needed to make a cake along with birthday supplies.

Good evening! Check out the wonderful lights in our "Just Food" community garden!

I'd like to introduce Brooke Beardsley, our newest volunteer, who is a high school senior at Wolfson High School working on 100 hours of community service, and has dedicated her time to the "Just Food" community garden as her project.

On Sunday, Brooke brought her mom and uncle to install the solar lights, so we'll be ready for our Blessing of the Garden on November 14th.

The best part is that Brooke is a neighbor right across the street from Community Health Outreach.

I love the idea of neighbors helping neighbors, and a community of partnerships is what makes us stronger.

Please consider volunteering at Community Health Outreach of Jacksonville. Community Health Outreach of Jacksonville

The Boy Scouts of America Troop 309 from Fleming Island has earned my deepest admiration, showcasing extraordinary passion, kindness, and dedication to helping others. I spent the day with James Stoutamire, a soon-to-be Eagle Scout, and his team, who collectively worked on multiple projects. Arriving at 8:30, they efficiently constructed a picnic table, two benches, a fire pit, and landscaping, in addition to clearing debris, adding mulch to our garden, and creating a lending library. Moreover, one of the mothers kindly donated baby books to the library.

Jasmine, our first Jan 2024 Baby Luv child, started visiting Baby Luv at just one week old with her mother, Caitlin, who worked as a school teacher. Following Caitlin's decision to stay home with Jasmine, she now volunteers her time to help other mothers at Baby Luv. Jasmine often joins us when we are replenishing supplies at Baby Luv.

Baby Luv is open every Wednesday, from 9 am to 10:50 am. Please bring a birth certificate, or the baby's passport for ID.
