The Nassau County Medical Society would like to congratulate Rep. Sam Garrison of Fleming Island on being named the next Speaker of the Florida House! During his designation ceremony at the Capitol, Rep. Garrison delivered an inspiring message calling Florida “the envy of the nation” while reminding colleagues not to grow complacent in success and to stay focused on meaningful policymaking. Physicians in Northeast Florida look forward to working with Speaker-Designate Garrison on a variety of healthcare initiatives to strengthen our communities and improve the health of all Floridians.

Seniors should also be armed with actionable information on how each plan works with physicians to deliver timely and quality health care. We've teamed up with physician organizations across Florida to develop a guide for seniors and their caregivers.
