Did you know that September 5th every year is celebrated as the International Day of Charity? It honors the anniversary of Mother Teresa’s passing. She dedicated her life to helping the poor and destitute. This day was established in 2012 to raise awareness and mobilize people, non-governmental organizations and stakeholders worldwide to engage in charitable activities. Charity plays a crucial role in helping people in need, supplementing public services and promoting the rights of marginalized and underprivileged groups.
Did you know that you can donate to a special cause right here in your own community? For your family, friends, neighbors, every dime of Julie's Pink Warrior Project stays right here to provide a crucial lifeline in the fight against breast cancer!
Julie's Pink Warrior Project provides a crucial lifeline for women in the fight against breast cancer, particularly those who lack adequate health insurance. By offering free 3D mammogram screenings, the initiative ensures that all women, regardless of their financial situation, have access to early detection services. This early detection is key to increasing survival rates, as it often allows for less invasive treatment options and a better prognosis. The project not only honors the memory of Julie Zerkle by continuing her passion for supporting others but also actively reduces healthcare inequalities by ensuring that every woman has the chance to fight cancer with the best tools available.
With the continued support of our community Julie's Pink Warrior Project has provided hundreds of 3D Screening Mammograms since its inception in 2018!
