📚✨ The kids are back in school… now what about you?

After weeks (or months) of managing summer chaos, schedules, snacks, and emotions; it’s easy to forget your own.

Now that the house is quieter, it might be the perfect time to check in with yourself.

🧠 Therapy isn’t just for crisis.
It’s for release.
It’s for clarity.
It’s for you… finally.

Whether you're feeling burnt out, anxious, or just need space to breathe again, I’m here.

Let this season be the start of your own healing rhythm. 💚

💬 Military spouses hold a lot, and often in silence.
The worry. The waiting. The shifting roles. The resilience that’s expected, no matter the cost.

But you deserve support, too.

Whether you’re dealing with deployment stress, communication struggles, or simply feeling unseen, therapy is a space just for you.

You don’t have to carry it all alone.

🌮✨ Yes, Taco Tuesday can be therapy.

Okay… not literally. But joy, ritual, and comfort? Those are powerful forms of self-care.
I wrote about it on the blog, from a psychologist’s point of view, with a side of guac. 😉

It’s more than tacos. It’s about creating small, consistent moments that help you feel human again. 💚

Taco Tuesday has transformed from a simple meal to a beloved global tradition. Beyond the delicious tacos and the excitement of gatherings…

It’s Wednesday. You might feel…
😩 Tired but wired
😶‍🌫️ Emotionally flat
🤯 Overloaded
🥴 Stuck between “keep going” and “cancel everything”

Midweek feelings are real.
You’re not lazy. You’re managing a lot.
And some weeks, just making it to Wednesday is a whole achievement.

Be gentle with yourself today.
✅ Drink some water
✅ Move your body (even a stretch counts)
✅ Step outside for 5 minutes
✅ Speak kindly to yourself, especially if your inner critic is loud

You don’t have to finish strong; just keep going, one breath at a time.

New month. New Monday. Same you.. and that’s enough.

You don’t have to overhaul your life to move forward.
Small steps count. Deep breaths count. Showing up counts.
Progress isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s quiet consistency.

This month, try this:
✔️ Set goals that honor your energy.
✔️ Celebrate effort, not just outcomes.
✔️ Rest without guilt.

You don’t need a new version of yourself, just a kind one.

Let’s take it one day at a time. You’ve got this. 💫

Surviving the Week Is Still Progress

Some weeks don’t come with big wins or breakthrough moments.
Some weeks just ask you to get through it.. and you do.
You wake up. You show up. You try.
You rest when you can. You cope how you need to.
And maybe nobody notices... but you were there for yourself.

That matters. That counts.
Give yourself credit for what didn’t break you.
Be proud of what you carried, even if no one clapped for it.

Here’s your reminder: surviving the week is enough. You are doing the work. And rest is part of healing too.

Be gentle with yourself this weekend.

🌮 Taco Tuesday Is More Than Just a Trend—It’s Self-Care🧠

As a licensed psychologist, I often remind people that joy and rest are essential parts of maintaining mental wellness. Taking time to enjoy something simple, like Taco Tuesday, can be a meaningful form of self-care.

It’s not just about the food. It’s about slowing down, finding comfort, creating connection, and stepping out of a busy routine. Small rituals like this can support emotional balance and help you recharge mentally.

When we allow ourselves moments of enjoyment, we support both our mental and emotional well-being. Choosing joy, in a mindful way, is one way to stay grounded and present.

Please note, this is not medical advice and should not replace any recommendations you’ve been given by your doctor or healthcare provider. If tacos fit within your dietary needs, enjoy them fully and without guilt.

You’re not just feeding your body—you’re caring for your whole self.

🌄Monday Motivation

Your healing doesn't have to be loud.
It doesn’t have to look like a breakthrough every day.
Sometimes, it’s simply choosing yourself — again and again — even when it’s hard.

This week, take one small step toward the version of you that feels most whole. Whether that’s resting, setting a boundary, or asking for help — it matters.

You've made it to another Monday. That alone is proof of your strength.
