I think it’s amazing that God designed our bodies with amazing ways to cope with strong emotions, and/or regulate a bodily stress response. The distance between mental chaos and peace is often shorter than we realize.
Stepping outside, taking a shower, eating a snack, doing some quick exercises…these are all ways we can bridge the gap between chaos and calm.
