Missouri Association of Nurse Anesthetists The Missouri Association of CRNAs which was founded in 1935 and has more than 1200 members.

CRNAs are advanced practice nurses specializing in the administration of anesthesia. The practice of anesthesia is a recognized specialty within the profession of nursing. As one of the first nursing specialties, CRNAs have a longstanding commitment to high standards in a demanding field. Over 55% of MO counties with hospitals providing surgical services offer anesthesia provided solely by CRNAs.
