✨ Benefits of Sarasana (Shoulder Stand) ✨

Often called the Queen of Asanas, Sarasana offers powerful benefits for both body and mind:

🧠 Calms the nervous system – encourages relaxation and stress relief
🩸 Improves circulation – reverses blood flow, nourishing the brain and heart
🦋 Supports thyroid health – gentle compression stimulates the throat chakra
🧘‍♀️ Strengthens core & shoulders – builds stability and postural awareness

5️⃣ TIPS TO STOP BEING THAT PERSON (you know, the one that sucks to be around):

1️⃣ Turn off the news. Permanently. You will know what’s going on economically and socially by communicating, observing, and recognizing patterns. 🤯 TV and social media news are endless loops 🔁 of negativity 👎 and YOU’RE addicted to it.

2️⃣ Wake up and notice a minimum of THREE things you are grateful for (small or large - but personal to you) 🥰. Then, look in the mirror and brush your teeth with your opposite from dominate hand 🖐️ and tell yourself you LOVE you!

3️⃣ Move around! I don’t just mean your thumb, scrolling to never land. I mean get up and move 🚶🏻‍♂️🏃🏼‍♀️🧘🏽‍♂️ EVERY day, for at least 30 minutes. That’s a bare minimum! There’s 24 HOURS in a day.

4️⃣ 🛑 STOP saying you’re “so busy” or have “no time” ⏰! The ONLY person choosing how you spend your time on this earth is YOU. Use your 📆 calendar and schedule out your time and include time for rest 🛌. You have a LOT more time than you think.

5️⃣ Eat real food. Simple ingredients. If you don’t have 💰 for real food; delete all your subscriptions that keep you in front of a screen 📺 and then let’s talk.

1️⃣ Improving several health conditions like low-back pain, neck pain, headaches, anxiety symptoms, depression, menopause, and stopping smoking 🚬

2️⃣ Managing stress, supporting good health habits, improve mental/emotional health, and SLEEP!😴

3️⃣ Typically a safe form of physical activity for healthy people when practiced appropriately (in other words, listening to your body) 💜

4️⃣ Reduces anxiety and depression in children AND teens! AND can be helpful and safe weight loss and management for teens with overweight or obesity. 🤯

5️⃣ Yoga can be safe during pregnancy! I practiced my entire pregnancy 🤰 and transitioned to chair 🪑 yoga as my belly (and everything else) grew.
