We had a great management meeting today. It's always really nice to get together with the leadership and discuss what has been and what we are doing next. Look for a big expansion in the not too distant future.

Hi, everyone. As you may have heard, Brian Randall passed away last week. Brian did not work for HQ, but many of you knew him. The family has asked that we post the information about his memorial service.
The funeral/ celebration of life is on July 26th at 11:00 am at peace Lutheran church in philomath Oregon.
Anyone wanting to pay respects is encouraged to attend.
I'm sure I speak for all of HQ when I say we are sorry for the family and their loss.

Hey, everyone. We wanted to give a big congratulations to our very own Peggy Thomas. On Friday, she picked up the keys to her new home. Buying a home is quite an accomplishment and if you know Peggy, you know she earned it. We are happy for and proud of her. Our hope is that each of you accomplish this as well.
P.S. we told her you would mow her lawn, so...

Hey everyone. We attended the memorial for Calvin today. There was a great turnout and his family was happy to have us. Many of us told stories and did our best to honor him. We set a zone up a placed a paddle down as if he were on break. Many of us put paddles down in his honor. Lexi was grateful for the turnout and we gave her best wishes for those of you who could not be there. We were able to give her a gift in excess of 2 grand. We also took the opportunity to pay for the facility. Thank you all for your generosity towards his widow and family. It makes us proud to work with people who care for and sacrifice for each other.

Hey, all. It looks like we are finally transitioning into the busy season. This means bigger and more difficult projects. We are convinced that this team and those we are adding are up to the challenge. To that end I would like to show a few recent triumphs, and give big paise to those who earned these comments.

Yeah I will take 2 for next week. We will do a 7am start on Monday morning. I told Sam 730 but I just texted him to change to 7.

I’ve got to tell you, we had grinding and paving going on these past couple of days and it was a very hectic zone…

Sam and the guys did an outstanding job of keeping things going smoothly and helping me with pattern changes. The two guys on each end did great and Sam in the middle orchestrating it all worked perfectly.
They are as good as I’ve ever worked with. Very much appreciated!

Another call was from a TCS in Rickreall. He is new to the TCS part of the job and was very grateful for the crew who helped him last night. He said he had never worked with such a great group of flaggers and they performed above expectations. This group was led by Theos N. his team had Cloey J, Danielle H and Jennie L on it.

We have received very good feedback on the new hires so far.

Many of you out perform all expectations every day. We hope you are as proud of what you do as we are.

Hi, everyone.
On Saturday June 14th at 1PM, there will be a ceremony for Calvin Hood at the Old World Gingerbread Village in Mapleton. his widow Lexi has asked that we all come out and pay our respects. Lexi has asked that we bring some flagging equipment as decoration. HQ will be bringing a set of signs and some cones. I suggest that we all wear vests and bring our paddles to salute our friend, mentor and fellow flagger.
As always in these situations, I am asking you all to bring a cash donation. We would like to present his widow with a generous gift, so please bring a lot. Lord knows our friend deserves it.
I hope to see each of you there. Please spread this invite to everyone you talk to.

Hey folks its been a while. I just wanted to share a text I received today. The complement is great, but what I noticed was the fantastic way leadership was illustrated.

Today was a special day. we had my bosses boss and 2 lead safety reps and their insurance rep out here. They all shook my hand and told me thanks so much for keeping everyone safe. I made sure to let them know. My crew are the real Rockstars, anyhow it was a good day.

The season is almost upon us. We have a ton of work coming and we will all be way to busy again soon guys. This looks to be another growth year for us. We cannot stress enough that you guys have proven year after year that you are the best there is. Every contractor we work with swear by this team. This will be another year of proving why you are called High Quality. This year you will see more brand new flaggers out there. It will be an awesome opportunity for all of us to teach them how to do this thing we do so well.
