The other day, one of my Veteran patients gifted me this Challenge Coin. I thanked him, but told him that I didn’t really feel that I deserved it.
He then asked if ever served in the military? I told him no, when I graduated from high school I enrolled straight into Ohio State University. He then said “well, you work for the VA.” I replied no, I do not work for the VA, but I do have the honor of being a Community Provider for the VA, and the VA refers patients, like yourself, for acupuncture treatments and, sometimes, for chiropractic services.
He then said, “ you deserve this coin because you help improve the lives of veterans with your treatments!”
Thank you Dwayne R for honoring me with this gift. In my 38 years of practice, this is the most special gift any patient has ever given to me!
I still don’t think that I really deserve it, but will always cherish this special honor!

Stealing this article from another chiropractor. I don’t understand why everyone taking statin drugs to manage cholesterol isn’t prescribed CoenzymeQ10 (CoQ10) to take at the same time. I recommend to all my patients taking cholesterol medication that they take CoQ10 as a supplement.
