Hi, I’m Becky!

I’m a mama and a public health professional focused on improving health outcomes for women, and improving the experience of transitions in motherhood. I’ve always loved birth and the process women go through in becoming a mama. I work in public health research, but when a friend asked what I would do if money, time and ‘career’ weren’t a concern, my answer was easy: “I’d be a doula”.

I have experienced birth and miscarriage, and have volunteered as an abortion clinic es**rt and a Mikveh guide (ritual Jewish bath) for women marking transitions. I am a protector and supporter, to the core. I’m a bit spiritual and a bit silly (see photo…). My DTI certification is underway, expected in 2020.
