Black Girl Mental

Black Girl Mental Hi, I’m Morgan 👋🏾

I’m a wife, toddler mama, psychotherapist by training, and Style & Self-Image Coach for moms. Think: personal styling meets life coaching.

Spring has always been the season of rebirth, but this year it feels different. 🌸🌷🌼

The changes aren’t just on my vision board — they’re in my routines, my relationships, my faith.

Lately I’ve been paying attention to the rhythm of the wind:
the tiny nudges to let go,
the gentle pushes toward what’s next,
the way doors close and open in the same week.

It feels like God is rearranging things quietly, and my only job is to stay soft, stay surrendered, and stay available to be made 🆕.

If you can feel a shift in your own life right now, drop a 🌱🌱🌱!

“Just your favorite neurodivergent couple planning for the new year… almost a week into the new year.” 🤝🧠💫

Because let’s be honest:
We are not the “vision board done by December 28th” type of people.
We are the “pause 14 times, get distracted, come back with snacks, and still find our rhythm” type.

If your relationship has:
• overlapping Google calendars and forgotten texts
• big dreams and executive dysfunction
• deep love and very different brains trying to work together…
you’re not behind. You’re just building a life that works for you.

Here’s to soft-but-strong couples, late planners, and neurodivergent lovers who refuse to give up on healthy, drama-free relationships or themselves in 2026. 🤎

Comment “US” if this feels a little too accurate.

Welcome to 2026, sensitive & neurospicy moms. 💫

If your brain is loud, your to-do list is chaotic, your body has changed 17 times since pregnancy, and getting dressed feels like one more decision… this space is for you.

We’re not doing “perfect mom aesthetic” over here.
We’re doing:
• comfy-but-cute outfits you can actually move in
• closets that work with sensory needs + executive function
• God-confidence and gentle self-talk instead of shame
• tiny style rituals that remind you: I still matter

If you’ve ever thought, “I want to look put-together… I just don’t have the spoons,” I see you. Stick around — we’re building a soft-but-strong style universe for real-life, neurospicy moms. ✨

Comment “ME” if this is your lane so I know you’re here. 💕

Tea with my first style icon. 🫖✨

There’s something so healing about dressing up a little, lingering over tea, and sitting across from the woman who taught me how to be both gentle and strong.

Saving this as a reminder: I am somebody’s daughter and somebody’s mom… and I still deserve pretty days, tiny sandwiches, and good perfume. 💙🫖

Have you ever done tea with your mom (or a mother figure)? Tell me where, so I can add it to my list.

Friendship & Feelings Friday from the Morgan Morrison Cinematic Universe 🎬💕

A little date in the life:
Subway → 5th Ave → Bergdorf Goodman tea with my first best friend… my mama. 🫖✨

We people-watched, shared desserts, and talked about motherhood, answered prayers, aging, and what “soft life” actually looks like when you’re a Black woman who still shows up for everybody.

Days like this remind me that I’m not just a mom, a wife, or a coach — I’m also somebody’s daughter. And she’s the one who taught me how to be both gentle and strong.

Here’s your Friendship & Feelings Friday reminder:
You deserve long talks, pretty spaces, tiny sandwiches, and to feel deeply seen by your people.

Tag the mom/friend you’d take to tea. 🤎
