Card Symbolism
The Priestess of Magic performs enchantments beneath an herb wheel containing some of the most potent Celtic sacred trees: elder, ash, ivy, oak, and willow. In her hands she holds the berries, leaves, and flowers of the elder tree, ready to begin powerful magic with them. Beside her is the symbol of the triple goddess, a trickle representing the maiden, mother, and wise woman.

Elderflower
The elderflower was one of the most useful herbal remedies in medieval times, with the flowers and leaves being found to contain anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antioxidant properties.
Elderflower wine is a well-known and delicious by-product of fermenting the flowers with water, lemon, juice, and yeast. The magical properties of elderflower include spell work for prosperity, health, and protection.

Divination

The fruit and flower of the Elder tree are well known for their regenerative properties. Bring a little magic into your life with this most potent potion that uses the beautiful essence of elderflowers.
1. Pour 30ml elderflower liquor, 20ml elderflower cordial, and 20ml lemon juice into a cocktail shaker filled with ice
2. Shake robustly and pour into a frosted glass
3. Top with champagne

I get a lot of inquiries about face to face video/FaceTime/Zoom readings—with the kids home all summer my schedule has been limited, however I’m now back to taking appointments for September!

From September 7th forward available hours are Mon-Fri, 9am-1pm.

You can book a 30 or 60 minute in-depth session that will include a 10+ card spread about the matters at hand, and we will continue to pull cards and go into as much detail as time allows.

I am also able to do shorter, pre-made video readings that can be sent to you via email or Facebook/Instagram Messaging. These can be 1, 3, 6, or 10 card spreads about your topic/situation of choice.

Todays Oracle: Vampire

Although the beautiful and somewhat desirable vampire in its modern form doesn’t really begin to enter the public consciousness until the mid-1800’s, the idea of a human feeding upon the life source is much, much older. The Egyptians, Sumerians, Indians, and the Balkan people all have mythos containing vampire-like creatures.

The vampire is an interesting figure because it is both horrifying and desirable. Having someone want us so much that they desire to be that closely linked to us feels good—until we realize there is nothing left for us to give. Most of us have heard of the concept of emotional vampirism—the idea that people feed off of our energy and goodwill. That they take advantage of us through manipulation and their incessant neediness.

Should vampire appear in your reading it may indicate that you are feeling drained in this way and that it is time for stronger boundaries. We need to be very aware of what gives us energy in our lives and what takes it away. We should be aware of needing people to need us and why we invite people like this into our homes, workplaces, and lives. Developing the emotional intelligence within ourselves helps us defend against this kind of emotional attack and enables us to foster healthy equal relationships of all kinds.
