Another 'No Scale Victory' a client shared this morning!!! πͺπ―π
This is No Scale Victory from Heather...
The next picture is her pain chart from her consultation when she started back in April... It may be difficult to see in the picture, but she put a line from basically the top of her neck down to the top of her hips, and had right elbow pain..
When she started working out with me she struggled doing modified Pushups on an elevated barbell, and when she did Farmer's Carry (walking with a weight in each hand) she could only carry 10 lb dumbbells for about 30 yards or her neck would start hurting...
She worked on core stability by learning how to create abdominal stiffness to help stabilize her spine... She worked on scapular mobility to help relax her Rhomboid and Upper Trapezius muscles, to allow her shoulder joints to fall back into alignment, allowing her to properly learn how to use her Deltoids and Pectoralis muscles to move her arms on pushing/pressing exercises and her Latissimus Dorsi muscle for pulling/rowing exercises; so she was no longer over working her Upper Traps and Rhomboids...
She also has been working on proper hip positioning, foot placement, Glute Maximus and Hamstrings engagement, and learned the difference between moving in her hip socket (correct) and moving in her low back (incorrect) and just creating the illusion of getting a full range of motion when bending, squatting, and lunging, allowing relief of low back, S.I. joint and knee pain and stiffness...
Not only did she come in this morning and share that she worked on her farm all day, but she then proceeded to do Farmer's Carry with 12Kg Kettlebells (about 26 lbs each) in each hand for 90 yards( triple what she started with)... And she also did side planks, Goblet Squats with more weight than she's done before, Pause Walking Lunges, and Pause Cossack Squats...
Keep up the good work! I'm so glad your effort and dedication to the tiny details is paying off!!!
