'After finishing Detective two weeks ago, his Grand last weekend, and now Rally this weekend to start on his RACH, we were a bit tired and rusty especially since he hasn't been in a rally ring in almost a year... HOWEVER, Levi still gave a solid effort.

Levi earned both Triple Qs this weekend at Cudahy Kennel Club's Rally Trial with some reasonable scores. Yesterday he got a 98/100 in Masters, 99/100 in Excellent, and 100/100 in Advanced. Then today went 96/100 in Masters, 100/100 in Excellent, and 99/100 in Advanced.

The competition there was extremely stacked all weekend where you weren't guaranteed a placement for getting 100 🫠 We got one Third Place in there somewhere lol.

Anyway, I'm proud of this little do it all boi, and his can do attitude. I've thrown everything I've got at him recently, and he shows up with best ❤️'

I started typing a long post about kindness, mentorship, genuine inquiry, and ‘finding your people’ in the dog world.

Instead, I’ll just say this: I do not know everything. Frankly, I discover regularly just how much I don’t know and how much there is to learn. BUT, I will ✨happily✨give of myself whatever I have to give to those with questions and those who want to learn.

Please feel free to reach out to me with questions about my breeds. I have 30+ years in Pugs, my original breed, and going on 14 years as a Toller owner (with 20+ years of conformation involvement with the breed) and over a decade as a GWP owner. Please feel free to reach out to me with questions about sports. I have been a hobby handler of many breeds in conformation. I also have experience in obedience, rally, FastCAT, scent work, and field. If I don’t know something, I likely have “a guy” who does.

The dog world can be a brutal place.
But it is also full of amazing people; you just have to find them.
Please don’t go at it alone. And please don’t let miserable, nasty fanciers get you down. Reach out. Find your people.

And above all else - find the fun and enjoy your dog(s).
