At the JSPCC, we are deeply committed to our founding principles of community support, assisting those in need, and caring for our aging seniors. We're proud to stand behind the mission of OSDRI, a nonprofit organization that relies solely on donations, grants, and community efforts. Run by veterans for veterans, OSDRI is dedicated to supporting homeless and at-risk veterans in Rhode Island, offering a variety of services to help them overcome challenges and achieve stability.

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

We are thrilled to announce that the JSPCC has partnered with Operation Stand Down RI to support their Veteran Food Pantry!

Operation Stand Down RI, founded by veterans for veterans, offers essential services including resume building, housing assistance, financial classes, clothing, and a food pantry, among many others. We are honored to assist those who have bravely fought for our freedoms, which we often take for granted.

So far, we've distributed over 20 boxes to various Assisted Living, Nursing, and Rehabilitation Homes, as well as to Professional Senior Advisors. Our goal is to help fill their pantry, and we need your support!

If you have any donations, please drop them off at The Johnston Senior Center located at 1291 Hartford Ave, Johnston, RI 02919. Every contribution makes a difference! ❤️

As We Say Goodbye to 2024 and Welcome 2025

This past year has been a journey filled with laughter, challenges, growth, and unforgettable moments. Together, as the Johnston Senior Provider Collaboration Committee, we’ve celebrated milestones, supported one another through trials, and strengthened the bonds that make our mission so impactful.

The beauty of a new year is the chance to turn the page and start fresh. 2025 is a blank chapter, ready for us to write stories of connection, kindness, and success. Life’s journey teaches us that every challenge makes us stronger and every triumph reminds us why we persevere.

🎄✨ What an Incredible Event! Brunch with Santa 2024 ✨🎄

Yesterday, the spirit of the season shone brightly as over 500 families from Johnston, Warwick, Cranston, North Providence, and Smithfield gathered for the Johnston Senior Provider Collaboration Committee’s Brunch with Santa at the Johnston Senior Center!

The day was nothing short of magical:
🎶 A Brass Quartet greeted guests with beautiful Christmas carols, spreading holiday cheer the moment they walked through the doors.
🎨 Children’s Arts & Crafts stations brought joy and creativity to our youngest guests.
🍴 Scrumptious food was graciously donated, ensuring no one left hungry.
🎅 Free Photos with Santa captured unforgettable memories, while donated gifts delighted children of all ages.

And the cherry on top? Every child left with a special gift from Santa and a delicious chocolate chip cookie, lovingly prepared by Mrs. Claus herself up at the North Pole.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our incredible sponsors and vendors who made this day possible. Your support brought so much joy and provided amazing local shopping opportunities for our guests. Your generosity turned this event into something truly magical.
