Invest in breastfeeding, invest in the future.

Today we start World Breastfeeding Week 2025, and Breastfeeding USA maintains its mission to provide evidence-based breastfeeding information and support, and to promote breastfeeding as the biological and cultural norm.

All families need support, support requires an investment of time and resources. Fortunately, investing in breastfeeding generates many returns in the health of babies, children, parents and nations.

Happy 1st day of World Breastfeeding Week! For that, I'm finally launching my page as a breastfeeding counselor.

Breastfeeding does not come naturally to every mother. As a breastfeeding mom, I had the roughest start and exclusively pumped for the first 4 months of my daughter's life when she finally decided to latch. I was constantly researching and getting advice any chance I got. I felt defeated most of the time.

This led me to take a course to become a breastfeeding counselor -to help other moms in need of support and advice -backed by facts and research.
