As some of you may know, I am an affiliate with Potential Power Nutrition. This is an all encompassing protein shake that was developed by Dr. Mary Balliett, my incredible advisor and professor at NYCC. I had an amazing experience speaking at Conemaugh School of Nursing about Energy healing, somatic practices, and mental health in our healthcare/clinical settings. I made some great connections, had enlightening conversations, and delivered a message I'm very passionate about. I learned some new things and was better at thinking on my feet than I thought I was. I so appreciate the opportunity to speak with people about something I love and that has changed my life. 🩷

Some house keeping as we are entering the holiday season 🦃🎄:

1. The office will be closed on Thanksgiving Day Nov 27, Christmas Day December 25th, and New Years Day Jan 1st. 🥂 Black Friday is tentatively being left open but if no one schedules by Weds of that week, I won't be in the office 💯

2. I want to remind everyone of the 24 hour cancellation policy. I will be enforcing it with no exceptions this holiday season. Unless there are extreme or emergent circumstances, 24 hours is absolutely required to avoid a fee equal to the cash value of your service schedule, no discounts or insurance applied. 48 hours is even more appreciated. This is to hold my clients and myself accountable as my time and your time is so valuable!

3. Weekends I will no longer be answering phone calls or texts unless emergent, so if you know you need to cancel/reschedule, use your sign-in on Jane and see number 4 below.

4. Jane is a wonderful online platform that you can use to go in and reschedule/cancel appointments. You will need to cancel 48 hours in advance to use the feature online. The more you can use Jane, the better! Thank you for understanding. ❤️ guidingpointhealth.janeapp.com

My heart is full. I am excited to announce yet another amazing collaboration with the wonderful organization Operation: BeYoutiful. They provide wigs and so many other services to women navigating hair loss due to medical interventions and illness.

Having been well acquainted with the devastating effects of cancer in my family, it is important to me to support where I can. This is especially for my Pop Pop Shultz and Mom Mom Shaffer, who transitioned all too early from this world due to cancer. Of course, forever is never enough so this is how I honor them and also the cancer survivors in my family and community to make life a little more bearable and magical ❤️🤍🩷💙 Special shout out to Gwen for making it happen!

When speaking with one of their founders, Andi, she said, "I want to spend more money on things that will help our members and community." I knew then this was an organization I could get behind. ✨

I completely forgot to post, but Guiding Point Health Center hit 2 years on October 31st 🎃✨ I am so thankful for all my clients and the support from the community in helping my dream grow, evolve, and reach heights I never thought were possible. I couldn't have done this without your support and the love from my friends and family 🩷 It's hard to believe next spring I'll be hitting a decade in practice. It's been a wild ride with ups and downs but I wouldn't change it for anything!
