Regrettably, due to unforeseen circumstances and in the interest of safety for cancer survivors, Relay for Life has been canceled. Please see below. Now let's prepare for next year and make it an exceptional event. If you have any further questions regarding the event this year, please contact Tammy Jo at The Town of Pennington Gap office. Thank you to everyone who supported the event this year. The proceeds will still be utilized for cancer research, which is the ultimate goal. The luminaries and ribbons will be placed at a later time.

Relay For Life of Lee County – Event Update

In consideration of our cancer survivors and those still fighting cancer, tonight’s Relay For Life event has been canceled due to the anticipated weather.

🌟 However, we will still honor the spirit of the event. Our luminaries and sponsor displays will be showcased on the next decent night, and a video will be shared right here on our social media page.

🎗There’s still time to donate and support a good cause through the American Cancer Society and Relay For Life. Every contribution makes a difference.

We do apologize for the cancellation and thank you for your understanding and continued support.

The Health Wagon is proud to partner with the United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF) to host a FREE mattress giveaway event! 🛏️💖

🟣 What’s Offered: Therapeutic queen-size mattresses at no cost
🟣 Who Can Apply: Breast cancer patients & survivors (women & men) ! This is open to residents outside of Virginia!
🟣 Where: Event will be held in Southwest Virginia (must pick up in person – no shipping)
🟣 When: Date & location will be announced soon!

Lee County DSS had a pressing need for shoes, and our community rose to the challenge in an incredible way! This morning, we proudly delivered over 10 boxes overflowing with shoes. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every individual who contributed to this remarkable effort. It's a powerful reminder that even in a small community, collective action can drive meaningful change ❤️

Our shoe drive will wrap up this weekend!!! If you have any shoes laying around you would like to donate, please drop them off at the clinic during our regular business hours 9-9. Thank you to everyone who has supported this drive for our local DSS. The outpouring of support has been AMAZING to say the least. With God, all things are possible ❤️
