Did you know? On June 15, 1667, Dr. Jean-Baptiste Denys, the royal physician to King Louis XIV, performed the first successful animal-to-human blood transfusion by transfusing sheep’s blood into a 15-year-old boy who survived the procedure! 🐑🩸

This groundbreaking moment paved the way for the life-saving transfusions we use today. It’s incredible how far medicine has come thanks to pioneers like Dr. Denys!

💜 Today, we proudly celebrated The Longest Day at Mangrove Bay!

Living Life at Home had the honor of joining Mangrove Bay Chorus for their Longest Day Show Fundraiser in support of the Alzheimer’s Association.

🎤 Guests enjoyed a heartfelt performance by Ryan Gill
🥤 The signature Purple Cow drink helped raise funds for Alzheimer’s care and research
🎟️ And we hosted a raffle giveaway for a beautiful charcuterie board!

It was a day filled with music, purpose, and purple. All to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s and to stand together in the fight for a cure.

🎖️Honoring Our Heroes at Addington Place of Jupiter🎖️

Living Life at Home had the honor of celebrating our Veterans during a special Veteran Group Luncheon at Addington Place of Jupiter, recognizing the U.S. Army’s 249th Birthday and Flag Day.

We shared cake, handed out heartfelt thank you bags, and most importantly, spent time reflecting on the incredible sacrifices and service of the brave men and women who wore the uniform.

Thank you to all who served. Your courage, dedication, and legacy continue to inspire us every day. 💙🎖️🇺🇸
