I think it’s important to be aware of what’s unfolding across the globe — division, fear, hatred, etc.

& because of this, I think it may even more important to focus on what we CAN do to mend the rips in the fabric of our human family

In the day-to-day moments helping a loved one, offering a hug, a smile, a sincere gesture of kindness

These acts may seem tiny & insignificant, but I believe they send a ripple of love across the world

May you remember how loved you are

May you remember to love yourself

May you remember to love others

“What’s the point of me being here?”

“How will my presence make a difference?

These are 2 (of many) doubts I had when I attended my first protest on Maui several months ago

But once I felt the positive & loving energy of the crowd…

It brought me to tears

To see & feel thousands of us uniting for change

But I think the frame of a protest can *sometimes* create an “us vs them” dynamic — which perpetuates the very same division that created these social conditions

So we’ve been inspired to organize a “Global World Peace Parade” as a celebration of our shared humanity

This is NOT a protest

This is reminder for us AND our brothers & sisters across the world that we are all connected in this web of life
