Why is this the case? Healing power is dependent on a strong spiritual cord.

As lots of spiritual energy descends through the spiritual cord into the crown chakra it flushes the aura clean. As long as there are minimal blockages it also strengthens & activates the other chakras.

When a person is humble & recognizes the Blessings coming down from above, the spiritual cord becomes stronger. When the person is arrogant or conceited, thinking that he or she is the source of the healing power, the cord shrinks—power is withdrawn.

This is one meaning of the Teaching, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Divine energy descends to a person through his or her spiritual cord above the head. MCKS says this is like a ‘spiritual antenna’ or ‘power line.’ When a person does acts of kindness or helpfulness the spiritual cord widens. This gives the person more access to ‘spiritual power’ manifesting as wisdom, guidance, & greater healing abilities.

When a person causes pain to others or misleads others through dishonesty, the spiritual cord becomes smaller. Spiritual power is withdrawn to prevent the person from causing greater harm.
