Wicks Therapy Wicks Therapy exists to serve individuals, couples, and families through professional counseling. Our business was established on August 01, 2020.

The goal is to impact lives on a spiritual, emotional, and mental level. Wicks Therapy's primary service is Clinical Mental Health Counseling. We service all of Michigan via Telehealth, and we have one office for in-person sessions in Grand Rapids, MI. Our counseling exists to serve individuals, couples, and families through professional counseling. Our counseling goal is to impact lives on a spir

itual, emotional, and mental level. Counseling also involves the sharing of personal problems, concerns, and stories with a professional who is skilled at helping the client or clients come to a resolution or solution about their particular situation. The general goals for the client are that he or she can identify the issue(s), develop a plan of action, and then implement that plan to move forward and progress in spite of their spiritual, emotional and/or mental setbacks. This is a very personal process. It is educational and developmental by nature. Our understanding of counseling comes from many different theoretical orientations. We believe that clients have the solutions to their dilemmas within themselves. We have the freedom to choose what directions our life takes and the responsibility to take control of that freedom. Therefore, the counselor does not have the “answers” to the client’s “problem” but is a facilitator of the process that helps the client take responsibility and action and come to a resolution. Here at Wicks Therapy, you can find your pathway to spiritual, mental, and emotional freedom!
