I remember ❤️‍🩹

No One Will Remember You — But You’ll Remember Everything

I suggest an experiment that I know no one will actually do.
If you gave birth in a hospital a week ago, a year, five years, or twenty years ago — and you went back there today to ask the doctors, midwives, or nurses how your birth went, the chances that anyone would remember you are close to zero.

And the chances that someone has spent even one night wondering whether you’re having trouble breastfeeding, how your nights look, or how your bond with your baby is forming?
Almost none.

It’s you and your child — maybe your partner, maybe your family — who are left with the echo of that day.
You’re the ones carrying what stayed in your body, your memory, your emotions. Sometimes, that echo becomes trauma.

That’s why you, right now — no matter what stage of pregnancy you’re in, or even if conception hasn’t happened yet — should start thinking about what your birth will look like, and prepare for it as best as you can.
Because you and your child will be the ones living with its consequences.
