Creative expression is a primary human need, necessary for self-fulfillment and self esteem. Art is a form of creative expression in which individuals with disabilities can excel, given the opportunity.

Come and get your glow on this Saturday!

The Bolingbrook Arts Council is proud to be a partner for the Celebration of Special Recreation event to be held at the Annerino Community Center in Bolingbrook on Saturday, Oct 4! Come on out!
This event will showcase Arts and recreation activities from local organizations that people of all abilities are able to participate in.
Arts activities will include a blacklight painting experience by , an Arts Expo art gallery featuring self-identifying disabled artists from , tabletop arts from , theatre activities by , circus Arts by , music therapy by , and several local vendor artisans, including Bolingbrook 's own Super Sammy .
Adaptive recreation activities from local groups will also be available throughout the center, coordinated by our other partners, the NWCSRA and the Bolingbrook Park District.
