Cold laser therapy (also called low-level laser therapy, or LLLT) is a non-invasive treatment used in horses to promote healing, reduce inflammation, and manage pain.
Cold laser therapy is commonly used for:
Musculoskeletal injuries
Tendon and ligament strains
Joint injuries or arthritis
Muscle soreness or spasm
Wound healing
Promotes faster healing of cuts, abrasions, and post-surgical wounds
Pain management
Chronic joint pain or back soreness
Inflammatory conditions
Laminitis (as an adjunct therapy in some cases)
Soft tissue swelling
