Hi Friends! Wanted to hop on here and talk about something extremely important to me regarding my mission and authenticity.
This is the era overflowing with contradictory health information and itโs essential to prioritize balance and self-compassion. As scientific research demonstrates, stress and negative emotions like fear and guilt can directly impact our physical well-being.
A study by the American Psychological Association found that long-term stress weakens the immune system, increases inflammation, and heightens the risk of chronic diseases like heart disease and diabetes. (This is one of MANY studies done on this subject, relating to energetic health as well.)
Yet, itโs often the pursuit of 'perfect' health that triggers these harmful emotions. In striving to adhere to every new trend, detox cleanse, and fear being pushed, it can be challenging to afford and keep up. We can unintentionally fuel guilt, shame, and immense anxiety when we inevitably fall short. We fall out of alignment with tuning into our own unique health and body.
We must remember that small indulgences, like sharing a meal with friends that may not be fully organic, sipping an herbal sparkling drink that may be in an aluminum can, or savoring a sweet vegan treat that may have more sugar than you typically eat, contribute to our overall health and life. The importance of relaxation, gratitude, and peace within our daily lives cannot be overlooked. (LOVE OVER FEAR) When we step into the fear vibration and deprive ourselves of small, less healthy occasional indulgences and have it consume our minds, the over-obsessive thinking about it is generally what causes the true discomfort and potential illness to some degree.
By staying educated from trusted sources and making informed choices, while also recognizing the need for balance and self-forgiveness, we can foster a healthier, happier existence.
Letโs commit to treating our bodies like the sacred temples they are, but also remember that the energy and emotions we harbor have a profound impact on our well-being. Choose love over fear, balance over perfection, and kindness over judgment as we navigate the complexities of modern health.
This is not condoning over-consuming harmful foods, substances, or habits: however recognizing the energy and science behind what balance means and how our bodies and minds are SO powerful beyond our comprehension. Enjoy your life, stay healthy and up to date, but don't allow it to consume you. Life is meant to be enjoyed.
