We had an amazing time at the Brown County Fair yesterday celebrating Senior Day!🎉

From lively games of bingo and fresh coffee & donuts to incredible live music, the day was packed with fun. We served lunch to over 650 guests and wrapped things up with a sweet ice cream social! 🌭🍔🍦

Thank you to everyone who joined us-your presence made the day truly special. We're already looking forward to next year! 😄

Not only did she jump right in, but she walked away with a winning stack of chips and a big thumbs up to prove it. This week’s arts & crafts project was a first for everyone — glass etching! ✨ From bold designs to happy little “learning moments,” each piece was a reflection of the creativity and courage it takes to try something new. The best part? Our residents had such a great time experimenting that they’re already excited to give it another go — now with a little experience (and a few tricks) under their belts. At Primrose, it’s not about perfection — it’s about the joy of the journey, the laughter along the way, and discovering new talents we never knew we had. 💛

From laughter with friends to toasts for another year well-lived, it was an afternoon filled with joy, connection, and sweet moments worth savoring. Today we are featuring Cheyenne Block, a Certified Medication Tech at our Wausau, WI community.

Cheyenne shared that one of the things she enjoys most about working at Primrose is the opportunity to care for our residents, something she’s truly passionate about. She describes the residents as family and says that being able to support them every day is both meaningful and rewarding. Cheyenne also spoke highly about her co-workers, saying she genuinely enjoys working alongside such a great team. For her, Primrose isn’t just a workplace, it feels like a second home to her. She expressed how thankful and happy she is to have found a place like Primrose.

Brandan Benzing, her Executive Director, shared:
"Cheyenne is a tremendous asset to our team. Her dedication to our residents and her commitment to making Primrose the best experience possible is inspiring to witness each day. Our “Jukebox Journeys” activity was inspired by one of our residents who suggested bringing in their favorite CDs to share with friends. The room quickly filled with singing and reminiscing about the songs and musicians that shaped their youth. At Primrose, it’s these resident-inspired moments that make every day special. Meet Dave, one of our newest residents! He has many amazing stories to tell from his time as a photographer, including the years he spent covering baseball and the Cincinnati Reds. 📖 He spent many days on the road with players like Pete Rose, Johnny Bench, and other members of the Big Red Machine! ⚾

In this photo, Dave proudly holds up his lifetime pass from Major League Baseball—an honor he earned for his contributions to the sport. Our residents have incredible stories to share, and listening to them is one of the best parts of what we do. ❤️
