Welcome to the first of the year ✨
How were your holiday celebrations? What was the best part for you?
As we step into a new year, many people begin thinking about New Year’s resolutions—setting new goals or reevaluating old ones. How has that process felt for you so far? Have you taken time to reflect on what you want this next year to look like for you?
If not, I encourage you to pause and consider creating a few short-term goals, along with some longer-term ones. Identifying where you want to go can help you feel grounded, purposeful, and more connected to what you’re working toward each day.
What do goals mean to you?
Do they help you feel actively engaged in building the life you want?
Or do you prefer to live more freely—making decisions in the moment and flowing with what comes?
Often, I recommend starting with small, short-term goals. They can be powerful reminders of your own agency and capability. Every choice, decision, and action you make holds the potential to positively shape your life. What you do today helps create tomorrow—and all the days that follow.
So if your New Year’s goal is simply “I want to be happy,” try checking in with yourself as you make decisions:
• Does this choice move me closer to that goal?
• Does it help me maintain it?
Small, intentional steps matter. And you are more powerful than you may realize. 💛
