Practitioner Spotlight: My love, Laura Humphreys

From the moment she entered SEP, there was a sacred reverence in the way she approached the work. She wasn’t here to collect more tools or prove anything. She came to refine what she already knew in her body… to trust the quiet… to honor the subtle… to fully embody what she sensed but hadn’t yet anchored.

And that’s exactly what she did.

Laura’s presence is deeply shaped by her cultural connection and Alaskan roots. The way she holds space feels intentional, respectful, almost ceremonial. Nothing rushed. Nothing performative. Just grounded, attuned, sacred presence.

Over these 9 months, I watched her release the need to “get it right.”
I watched her soften into trust.
I watched her become even more anchored in her own nervous system, her own body, her own knowing.

Her confidence didn’t get louder… it got steadier.
Quieter.
More rooted.

And that inner shift changed everything about how she works.

Her sessions are more spacious now.
More precise.
More deeply regulating for the people she holds.

She doesn’t push transformation.
She allows it.
She meets people exactly where they are and honors the body’s timing… and because of that, her clients experience real integration, not just emotional intensity.

One of the most powerful truths she embodied is this:
People can only meet you as deeply as you meet yourself.

And as Laura deepened into herself… her capacity to hold others expanded in the most profound way.

This is what true embodiment looks like.
Not performing healing.
Not striving to fix.
But becoming the regulated, grounded, sacred space where healing naturally unfolds.

It has been such an honor to witness her devotion to this path… and to herself.

Practitioner Spotlight: My love,

She is one of the most loving, intuitive, magical humans I know.
From the very beginning, she showed up fully committed to her inner work. Not perfectly. Not pretending she had it all figured out. But honestly. Vulnerably. All in.

And what unfolded over these 9 months? Pure transformation.
The way Nicole learned to process her emotions...to let them flow, to stay with them when they needed space, to release them when it was time was one of the most profound things I’ve been privileged to witness.

There were moments we cried together. Moments we laughed until our bellies hurt. Moments we played like children. And somewhere along the way, we became soul sisters.
As Nicole stepped deeper into alignment with herself, her external world began to shift too.

She raised her prices and finally honored her worth.
She co-created a retreat business and began hosting transformational in-person experiences.
She stepped into a new, deeply aligned position that supports her energy in a completely different way.
And she’s now moving to a new city... because she followed the quiet, clear guidance of spirit.

Taking the first step into this work can feel daunting. Nicole names that honestly, and that truth matters.

Celebrating Harley, who just stepped into the Somatic Energetics Practitioner Certification.

Harley is a RN with a BSN who has already built a beautiful foundation in holistic care through Reiki mastery, teaching, dowsing, crystal healing, and craniosacral therapy. She felt drawn to SEP to expand her knowledge, strengthen her intuitive abilities, and grow her confidence in offering deeper mind body energy healing.

Her vision is to start her own holistic healing business and support clients beyond the bedside nursing model. She is also preparing to take the HNB BC exam and hopes to integrate this work into her life before she transitions back to California.

On a personal level, Harley sees Somatic Energetics as part of her inner healing journey. She wants to show up for herself, her family, and her future clients with more intention, alignment, and energetic clarity. She values patience, curiosity, open communication, and a supportive learning community where everyone grows together.
