On the heaviness of halos: Care for the professional caregiver during crisis

Presented by renowned educator, consultant, and author, Dr. Carla Cheatham

Professionals like you are often called “angels” or “heroes.” But halos get heavy, and superhero capes can strangle us if worn too long without the right support – especially during times of crisis.

Watch a powerful webinar that helps caregivers in all disciplines tend to their own emotional and mental health as they continue to serve others during the COVID-19 pandemic. You can’t afford to wait until after the crisis because it may be just beginning. The time to acknowledge the struggle and find the resilience you need is now.

Dr. Carla Cheatham, renowned educator and author on compassion fatigue and resilience, discusses the trauma and moral injury that professional caregivers face and provides practical techniques to help yourself, your colleagues, and your patients or clients.

Watch and learn:

What the terms “moral distress,” “moral injury,” and “secondary/vicarious trauma” mean, and how they affect your health and well-being
Practical solutions and strategies from the fields of resilience, emotional intelligence, and post-traumatic growth
How to develop and use a personalized plan of care that tends to your mental and emotional needs, as well as those of your team and the people you serve.

Join us for a powerful webinar that will help caregivers in all disciplines tend to their own emotional and mental health as they continue to serve others during the COVID-19 pandemic.
