After treatments like BBL + MOXI, your skin might look a little worse before it looks incredible, and that’s exactly what we want.

Right after treatment, expect some redness & warmth (like a mild sunburn). Then over the next few days, pigment rises to the surface, looking darker and a little like coffee grounds while your skin may feel dry or textured.

Collagen stimulation is the long game of aesthetics and it’s so worth it ✨

One of the biggest misconceptions about filler is that it’s all about adding volume. In reality, my favorite results come from strategic placement and facial balance.

As we age, the face naturally changes! We lose bone density, fat pads shift, and we lose collagen (starting at 25!).. This is why you might start noticing things like your under eyes hollowing, flatter cheeks, softer jawline, or deeper smile lines. It’s not just one area changing, it’s the entire face AND neck.

That’s why I love taking a full face approach with filler. Sometimes the best results come from treating the right supporting areas (like the cheeks, chin, & jawline) instead of focusing only on the most obvious spot. Small placements can restore structure and support so your entire face looks lifted, refreshed, and naturally balanced, not “overfilled.”

Something I always remind my patients:
5 syringes of filler is only about one teaspoon. That amount spread across the face is often what helps restore balance when someone hasn’t been treated in a while (or ever)!

What does aNu stand for?

aNu means ‘a new you and renewal’ and our symbol, the lotus flower, embodies our ideology. The lotus flower is associated with beauty, purity, prosperity, spirituality, new beginnings and eternity.

The lotus flower grows from the bottom of streams and muddy ponds to rise above the water and bloom. It symbolically represents being fully grounded in earth, yet aspiring towards the divine. At night, the lotus flower closes, and sinks below the water, just to resurface again untouched the next day. The lotus flower is an iconic symbolism of beauty because it lives in the muddy water yet remains unsoiled.
