Why can't we resist
certain foods & overindulge in others? Tonight, thru Rainy Day Books, Dr. David Kessler discusses his bestselling book: The End of Overeating! 6:30 PM, at KC Public Library, Plaza Branch. He's the former FDA commissioner who reinvented the food label & reveals how the food industry creates products with fat, sugar & salt to stimulate our
appetites, setting in motion a cycle of desire and consumption that ends
with a nation of overeaters. Yikes!

Since 1975, Rainy Day Books has been located in the heart of Kansas City in the midtown suburb of Fairway, Kansas. Just five minutes west of The Country Club Plaza, Rainy Day Books is in the Fairway Shops, located at the intersection of Shawnee Mission Parkway and Belinder Road.
