Ten years ago I was overwhelmed by the big BC and God bless I survived. Yes, Ryan Joy, I did it! And without thorns in my side, or malice…
We all struggle through pain and hardship that feels like hell. But Adrian R Joy showed me hardcore faith and I love life again and rely on a mother’s inner strength as a survivor— Positive vibes for moms everywhere, every day…someday kids will understand right?! Like my book says, . I’m still kicking!

WOMAN IN RECON

Hi guys! This is dedicated to Christine, and my mom... their positivity.

After a total mastectomy in 2014, I resolved to thrive past the ‘pink’ stigma of breast cancer. WOMAN IN RECON stands for reconstruction of my body and life after my mastectomy. This page is about regaining that life and sharing the positivity so necessary to a woman and her family recovering. I struggled through pain, depression, and anger. I gained spiritual growth and friends who’ve been more caring and support than ever. This is common sense for women, not by a doctor. I like to post fun stuff, real experiences and occasional book excerpts. God bless y'all. And I welcome your comments!
