Today I would like to talk about the importance of regular detoxing.
Our body is very smart and we naturally detox through sweating through our skin. Unfortunately mostly using chemicals to avoid body odors, we block our natural way of this happening. One way to help our body is taking salt baths.
Once a week I recommend everyone to have a nice hot (as hot as you can bare and if you do not have high blood pressure) detox bath. This is one way to pull toxins out of your body.
For the bath you need:
2-3 cups of Epsom salt
1 cup of baking soda
2 tbsp of Aztec Secret, also known as Bentonine clay
10 drops of essential oil of your choice
Rosemary and peppermint to help with circulation
Lavender for relaxation and to help with your sleep
Foot bath: 20-30 minutes
As hot water as you can tolerate
2 cups of Epsom salt
1/2 cup of baking soda
1 tbsp Bentonine clay
1 fresh lemon’s juice
10 drops of rosemary essential oil
Or 5 drops of rosemary &
5 drops of peppermint oil to aid circulation.
Important after your foot bath you elevate your feet for your lymphatic system to have the best benefits.
