Our Story

Looking for something other than a tourist vacation? Want to do more than just sit on a beach, drink Mai Tais, take a few pictures, and go back home with the same old thoughts and baggage? Muaisa Hale P**e, on the Kona Coast of the Island of Hawaii, offers a unique spiritual adventure that helps nourish body, mind, emotions and spirit. People generally find their way here to pause when they are at a crossroads; they seek guidance or a way to no longer feel lost on their journey. We intentionally provide only 2 guest rooms; so that everyone who chooses to stay with us will have a personal opportunity to explore and experience an entirely new state of being. ============= OUR LOCATION ============= Situated at 19.5 degrees North latitude in Kealakekua, Hawaii (10 miles south of Kailua-Kona and 30 minutes from Kona International Airport), we are in a place which Hawaiian elders call the "Golden Triangle," a unique and special location that ancient Hawaiians knew as “The Pathway to the God." We offer a plethora of healthful options ranging from to self-directed lodging to eco-adventures, vision quests, natural healing treatments and spiritual tourism. Imagine awakening every morning to the call of island songbirds. Studies show that just two hours of listening to nature sounds each day reduces stress hormones up to 800% and activates 500-600 DNA segments responsible for healing and repairing the body. Just breathing in the moist, earthy, aromatherapy of the surrounding Hawaii mountainside reduces stress and blood pressure and increases the activity of the immune system. A quick 4 miles down slope, Manini Beach allows easy access into Kealakekua Bay, a marine life conservation district, which is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and encounters with the dolphins.
