Due to the ever increasing cost of doing business- gas etc. I am finding it necessary to implement a small price increase. As of June 1 bodywork will be 90.00 and BEMER sessions 30.00. This is the first increase in over 5 years. I have tried to keep prices down as much as possible. Thank you for your continued trust and understanding.

I was able to work inside yesterday! Meet new client Louis or King Louis as he prefers. Louis gave me a call on his Bone Phone ( after mom Maria put some minutes on it) and requested some deep tissue and craniosacral work with a little Reiki energy thrown in. Louis is a 10.5 year old 145 pound Great Dane and a total love.

It came without bows.
No matching sets.
No plaits in neat rows.

It came in the dark
when the yard lights hum,
With frozen taps stubborn
and fingers gone numb.

The mud had spread wide
like it owned the place.
The wheelbarrow sulked.
The wind hit your face.

No sparkle. No tinsel.
No festive display.
Just carrots in pockets
and nets full of hay.

He didn’t want presents
or glitter or cheer.
Just dinner on time
and his people still here.

And standing there quietly,
warm breath in the air,
You felt it arrive
without fanfare or flair

Because Christmas, it turns out,
on yards just like these,
Is routine and presence
and moments of ease.

It isn’t the ribbons.
It isn’t the flair.
It’s carrots and kindness
And hay in your hair.

Just a note to my valued clients. Although not yet in our area, EHV and it's high mortality EMV is spreading and has confirmed cases in several states some related to the Waco outbreak and some not. Because of this I will only be seeing one barn per day to avoid any risk of cross contamination and all my gear including my boots and clothing will be thoroughly disinfected before wearing them again. This virus can be transmitted to horses on people's clothing as well as horse to horse contact and through the air for up to 30 feet. If you feel that there is any possibility of exposure in your barn please let me know. I will continue to use best practices to keep us all safe and healthy.

After a busy few weeks of bodywork to finals bound horses and horses needing a little release after a busy summer, we are headed to Dorset Equine Rescue to treat some of the horses there to bodywork!
