What is hyperhidrosis?

Hyperhidrosis is a condition that causes excessive sweating, often beyond with the body needs to regulate temperature. It can be unpredictable and uncomfortable, interfering with daily activities and confidence. This condition affects about 5% of the population and commonly shows up on the:
•hands
•feet
•underarms
•face and scalp

Managing Hyperhidrosis
There are several effective treatments, depending on severity and location. Topical solutions such as clinical strength, antiperspirant or prescription creams can reduce sweating in targeted areas. Oral medication such as anticholinergic drugs help block signals to the sweat glands but may cause unwanted side effects. At Cheeky, we offer FDA-approved Botox injections for excessive sweating. Botox contemporarily block sweat production for several months.
