Providing unmatched, expert eye care you can trust. Dr. Michelle Blew is the owner of her private eye clinic in Kennebunk, Maine. She earned her Doctorate at the Illinois College of Optometry in 2010. Dr. Blew completed an ocular disease residency at the VA Boston West Roxbury Division in 2012. She has vast experience in various public service settings, including: clinical education of students at the New England College of Optometry and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, caring for immigrant and refugee populations at the Lynn and Lowell Community Health Centers, and serving veterans at the VA Worcester Outpatient Clinic. Dr. Blew relocated to Maine full-time in 2022 and spent two years working at a private practice in Scarborough, ME. Her professional interests include the study, diagnosis, and management of ocular manifestations of systemic disease. She is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She and her partner, David, reside in Kennebunk, ME, where they also operate a local transportation service called RideMaine. In her free time, she practices yoga at The Daily Sweat, enjoys spending time at the beach and is a loving dog mom to her black lab, Dewey.
