Let’s normalize cycle-shaped bodies.
This is my menstrual phase pooch — and no, I’m not “letting myself go.”
My hormones are shifting, my uterus is shedding, my digestion is slower, and my body is temporarily holding more fluid. This is physiology, not failure.
During the menstrual phase:
• Progesterone drops → digestion changes
• Inflammatory pathways activate → tenderness & swelling
• Minerals shift → water retention
• Energy dips → your body asks for rest
We honor that here.
We don’t shame it, hide it, or suck it in.
Here’s your reminder to:
✨ Wear the soft pants
✨ Drink mineral-rich water
✨ Use warmth instead of willpower
✨ Speak gently to your body today
Your belly is not the enemy.
She’s just telling you where you are in your cycle.
