QUESTIONS:
Q: What are the benefits of Reiki? A: Reiki is great for relaxation and stress reduction as well as symptom relief. Reiki can dissolve energy blocks and tension, detoxify the body, stimulate the body's immune system and much much more. Q: Can Reiki replace medical care? A: NO, Reiki is a holistic therapy, which means it should be used to complement traditional medical treatments, not replace them. Q: What conditions can Reiki treat? A: Reiki is not specific to any ailment. It works on the entire self so it is helpful in all kinds of healing-body, mind and spirit. Q: What is reiki? A: Reiki is a Japanese form of stress reduction and relaxation that practitioners say promotes healing. The idea is that energy flows from the practitioner’s hands into the client. It’s that energy that creates the relaxation and healing effect. Q: What happens during a reiki session? A: Your practitioner will invite you into a private room and ask you about any particular issues you would like to address. Then you will lie fully clothed on a massage table or sit in a chair. In most cases, the practitioner will ask you to take a few deep, relaxing breaths before the session starts. A typical session runs between 30 and 60 minutes during which practitioners gently place their hands on or slightly above your body as they travel from head to toes (or toes to head) with the intention of moving energy. Q: What can I expect to feel during a reiki session? A: During the session, you might notice a warming sensation in certain areas. In other areas, you might not notice anything at all. Even if you come in with a particular problem area, you may experience a sense of relaxation that affects your whole body. You might even fall asleep during the session! Q: How will I feel after a reiki session? A: Every person who tries reiki has a different experience. Your experience from session to session can vary as well. Many people report feeling a sense of calm in their bodies. Others report reduced pain or a clearer mind. Some people say they notice old symptoms resurfacing in a sort of “healing reaction,” but those symptoms pass quickly. Q: Which conditions respond to reiki? A: Many people turn to reiki to relieve stress and anxiety. Practitioners also say that the therapy helps support the body’s natural healing mechanisms. Some healthcare professionals think that reiki helps reduce the side effects of drugs and radiation and may even reduce or eliminate the need for pain medications. Q: Is there anyone who should avoid reiki? A: No. It’s a gentle therapy that’s safe for anyone, including babies and seniors. Q: How do I find a qualified practitioner? A: While there are various certifying bodies for reiki, there are no minimum standards practitioners need to achieve. Your best bet is to find someone you feel comfortable with and can trust. Before you book your first session, ask questions: Which style do they use? Where did they learn to do reiki? How long have they been practicing? AFTER CARE:
💦 For several days after treatment, drink plenty of water to assist your body in the detoxification process.

💤 You may feel more tired than usual. Listen to your body; slow down and get plenty of rest.

🍽️ Eat light meals and avoid 🚫alcohol🍷, smoking🚭 and caffeinated ☕beverage if at all possible. Embrace any side effects of Reiki, which may include headaches and dizziness, emotional swings, or a temporary worsening of symptoms. These are actually signs that the process is working.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted and hope this finds you all well and happy!

Hope someone can get something from this. I had responded to another post in another group on FB of a young pregnant woman who was having a hard time finding her spirituality. It really got me thinking of how so many other people (myself included a few years back) give up before finding it the below is my take thoughts on it and hope it helps others who may struggle with finding theirs❣️

🙏🏻❤️🥰❤️🙏🏻

Spirituality is unique to each individual. It’s like a recipe, you tweak it to work for you and your “tastebuds“.😉 It is a personal journey, you just need to find the right fit for YOU and have an open mind ❣️

I was told years ago when I started this journey to not worry about the “God thing” so to speak and that I would find one that works for “me” when I was ready to listen. Best advice I was ever given ❣️

So now when I hear someone say “God” or similar references, I think of it as just a label. Such as lake, ocean, filtered or spring is to describe types of water.

I may use the word God as a reference sometimes for my higher power/source etc... however, I do not use it as confirmation in my belief. For my belief is in a God of “my understanding” and that is that … God is LOVE. If you have LOVE in your heart and treat others as you would like to be treated (The Golden Rule) then your are already on your path to building your spirituality that is unique to you.

I’ve never been religious couldn’t figure out how God is because I had way to many questions due to the multitude of religions (and humans) out their, which brought up more questions. I just couldn’t wrap my head around it. Luckily, I am glad I kept my mind open and kept searching to find my spirituality.

Only YOU know what’s right for YOU. So search within and go with your instinct. It won’t stir you wrong.

So when someone mentions God and you can or can’t relate to it or something is said that makes you feel as if maybe you aren’t “spiritual” enough… Just remember that YOU ARE spiritual in your own unique way. Stick with what/or whoever speaks to you, be it the universe, higher power, god(s)/goddesses, and just spirituality as a whole.

As for praying, I still have a hard time praying. But luckily I heard and found that sometimes the simplest prayer is the most effective one. And that is…
“Thank You” and “Help” 🙏🏻
