I’m seeing some new faces around here, allow me to reintroduce myself. Hold on tight it’s been a wild ride!
I’m coming up for air after our 2 1/2 year house build that my husband and I general contracted ourselves. It took all we had mentally, physically and emotionally to get through the build. In addition to building our house for 2 1/2 years, life decided to throw in these things to turn up the FUN:
We made our final military move (DITY)
Both kids graduated high school and started college.
My husband started a new career.
Our daughter had ACL surgery.
Our son walked away uninjured from his first car wreck.
My daughter and I walked away uninjured from a car wreck.
My husband and I both had cervical spine surgery.
And here we are standing on the other side of all of it…
It’s time to get back to thriving instead of surviving. After all, life is happening FOR us not TO us, at least that’s how I choose to view it.
