Today began earlier than my body and mind were ready for. After a week full of trainings, meetings, errands, emails, and the kids’ schoolwork, yet again I stepped into another full day. But in time, a small window opened and my body instantly recognized what would feel good.
I sat by the pond and let my breath grow longer, and slower. I stretched my arms and watched the sunlight dance across the water. Slowly softness took over, and a sigh released the tension in me. Just a few moments of true presence with my body and my breath renewed my energy and directed the next steps of my day.
There is quiet support around us at all times, simple, powerful ways to return to balance in any moment. And for that I am grateful.
