Happy Fall Y'all!
It's a foggy morning in Kettle Falls creating a perfectly cozy day for a relaxing deep tissue massage.
But! Some updates before we get into our week!
First of all, thank you for your patience while I recovered from being sick. I appreciate all the understanding around my delayed communication over the last couple weeks, but I am finally feeling better and back to my much more capable self!
There's some exciting things happening at our massage place in Kettle Falls, and I'm eager to share!
Colder weather means moving indoors to find relaxation and healing from the busy warmer season, and we have many opportunities growing at our rebranded Soul Shift Healing Arts Center. (Same building! New signage!)
What's happening in
NOVEMBER:
Nov 9th: Awaken the Divine Feminine w/ Dort
Sundays: Yoga (Stop into the office for more details!)
14th & 15th: Dort's Pottery Class
21st: Open Mic w/ Jordan (Ticketing details coming soon!)
As always this seasonal shift from warmth and light to cold and dark takes a toll on my mindset, so instead of resisting the change, I'm eager to embrace the shift to more creative indoor activities. I hope you'll join me!
Also, not everything is changing. We are still home to some wonderful bodyworkers with varied skills and specialties.
Dort Pritchett: Owner of Soul Shift Healing Arts & the founder of our center for mind, body & soul healing. Most of you know her already, but just in case, Dort is a Shaman Energy Healer, Family & Systems Constellation facilitator, Rolfing bodyworker & more...honestly, how do you fit such a multifaceted human into a few labels?
Emily Johnson: A licensed massage therapist who specializes in Ashiatsu massage, Emily offers an incredible spa-like massage that blends deep pressure with a nervous system calming flow. And yes, Ashiatsu is where the bodyworker massages you with their feet, but I'm telling you, Emily is dancing your body and mind into rejuvenation.
Kayleigh is the newest massage therapist in our office, and she specializes in nervous system regulation. With a light relaxing touch and a trauma-informed approach to bodywork, Kayleigh has limited availability so get in while you can!
And as you all know I'm Jordan!
I started my bodywork practice as a relaxing deep tissue massage therapist, blending deep therapeutic work with a nervous system calming bow.
What you may not know is that I am continuing my education in the path of Craniosacral therapy, an Osteopathic modality that uses "listening" of the tissue and dialoguing with structures to create lasting change. (Ask me for more info if you're curious!)
I'm still a big fan of hybrid massage, so even my craniosacral work is wrapped in the nervous system calming flow of traditional massage, but hopefully I'm able to bring more lasting change to life's impact on our bodies.
Alright friends, this was a lot of words! If you read all the way through, you're the best, and I appreciate you endlessly. More digestible content will be published soon, reiterating all the exciting happenings.
Would love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Thank you!
Jordan
