This Thursday, Sept. 18, the Rural Health Network will be at the Cayo Del Mar Apartments in Key West from 10 a.m. to noon. We'll be providing free blood pressure and glucose checks to all residents. We look forward to seeing you!

Join us for the annual Key West community observance of the International Day for the Remembrance of the 'Slave Trade' and Its Abolition on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. The official date is August 23rd, commemorating the start of the Haitian Revolution.

This year's theme is "They Jumped in the Water: Celebrating the Divine Feminine".

The event will be held at the Key West African Cemetery Memorial, which is the site of 295 burials of African captives rescued in 1860 from captured slave ships. The location is at Higgs Memorial Beach, at 1074-1094 Atlantic Blvd., Key West, Florida 33040.

White attire is requested but not required.
