Name change official!

I say goodbye to Kari Wetherill and anchor myself in Amrit Premgeet Kaur. 💪 ❤️ 🌟

Kari took me far...very far and I am forever grateful for the journey. The lessons continue to be learned and I will glean from her wisdom, dedication, failures and incredible accomplishments for eternity.

It is now time for me to anchor myself in my soul's work, symbolized in the taking on of my powerful new name. Amrit Premgeet is my full first name but feel free to shorten it to Amrit. I have no middle name. 🙏 ❤️

I have learned that I do not get to escape needing to correct people on pronunciation, haha! 😂 Feel free to ask. I posted a pronunciation video that I will post in the comments here for anyone that missed it.

Now for changing all my documents! Wish me luck!

Has your horse been extra frisky lately? 🐎
Here's why and 3 things you can do about it!

The change in season definitely affects them but there is something far more subtle and very powerful which is contributing to their excess in energy!

☀️🔥🌍 The Earth has been bombarded by a plethora of record breaking solar flares. These explosions on the sun don't just affect electronics and radio communications, they greatly affect the Earth, your horse and even you!

Every being with a heart has an electromagnetic field, even the Earth herself. When the positively charged particles created by the solar flares interact with your horse's electromagnetic field they create an excess in energy.

This influx of energy is experienced differently with every unique horse and human but can be experienced as agitation, frustration, distraction, friskiness and an overall challenge to concentrate, be still, settle and relax!

🐎 As your horse has already taught you, energy has to move.

But here are 3 more ways to send these energies on their way without running your horse around in circles.

💦 Water.
If your horse loves water, take them for a splash!

🌲 Nature.
Take them for a hack!

☀️ Sun.
Take their blankets off and sunbathe together as you take them for a graze.

These elements are grounding in and of themselves which means they absorb the positively charged particles and neutralize them.

N that you know that the Cosmos is affecting your horse's energy levels you can be more understanding of their situation and have a purpose behind your daily routine (and also cut yourself some slack for experiencing an extra noisy mind right now)!

Help your horse relax anywhere!

Practice this powerful Pranayama any time you are with your horse. You will promote their relaxation sooner and deeper as you practice this technique more and more.

When you are in control of your breath you are in control over any emotion that comes your way. Your emotions (and your breath!) have a powerful affect on your horse.

Your tongue is connected to your vagus nerve, which is responsible for your fight/flight and rest/digest response. The same applies to your horse!

This Pranayam will promote relaxation by releasing the stored chemicals which activate the flight/flight response so the rest/digest response activates. This affect is physically experienced through a yawn! And we all know how contagious yawning is!

But don't take my word for it. Try it for yourself (and your horse!)!

Had I known then what I know now, I would already have stood on that Olympic podium among the world's most excellent equestrians.

Having traded my helmet for a head wrap, I have never before been so excited and passionate about serving YOU! And to be honest, I didn't think I'd be back in the world of horses...But that's the beauty of following your heart and being guided by your soul: You will always be surprised...and greatly rewarded for your efforts.
