Meet Alex, the nurse manager of the ER at South Summerlin, an Extension of Summerlin Hospital, located in Las Vegas, NV! Alex brings a wide range of skills to this position – not only is he a nurse, husband and busy dad of three, but he is also a 1LT with the Army Nevada National Guard and certified in scuba diving!

Alex enjoys connecting with the community through the new freestanding ER. “Being an ER Manager allows me to have a positive impact... I especially enjoy interacting with the public and educating them on healthcare, when to use the ER, and how to prevent visits.”

Inside the ER, Alex fosters a strong team environment. “When the team has everything they need and a great place to work, they will continue to provide amazing care for our patients.”

Last week, Gulfport Behavioral Health System, located in Gulfport, MS, proudly celebrated the ribbon-cutting for its newly renovated Patriot Support Program!

We were honored to welcome so many dedicated military personnel who are committed to advancing mental health treatment. They toured the updated unit, met the incredible team and saw the specialized care we provide for veterans, active-duty service members and their families. This renovation is more than just new walls; it's a renewed promise to those who have served, ensuring they receive the support, respect and care they deserve.
