This beautiful guy passed away on March 22, 2026. It wasn’t the spread of his cancer, it was from cirrhosis of the liver and a chain reaction set off by sepsis.

Advances in treatments available to those with a digestive cancer such as Cholangiocarcinoma, gallbladder, liver or pancreatic cancers are increasing life expectancies and, in some cases, offer “curative” treatment rather than just palliative treatment. It’s been two years ago since Larry’s Cholangiocarcinoma diagnosis (unofficial). It’s been a long, tough road but he’s still here; still enjoying life; still working when he can; still my loving best friend. We are so grateful and thankful. His Klatskin liver tumor is still not showing up at all on scans after his January 8th Histotripsy procedure done by Dr. Kevin Burns, the world’s leader in Histotripsy skill and procedures.

This guy right here has been battling bile duct cancer since November 2023! In January 2024 a team of residents at Vanderbilt gave him 3-4 months to live with chemo and one year with chemo!!! Never accept these guesstimates! Be prepared to be an aggressive advocate for yourself or your loved one! Research successful, alternative treatments and therapies! ❤️
