He has an extensive background in health. He holds bachelors degrees in health & human with a concentration in exercise science, and life sciences. He also holds a masters degree in sports science & rehabilitation. He is also a certified medical examiner.

Appropriate evaluation and management of lumbar disc herniations is critical.

“There was no significant difference in RTP rate between athletes treated with operative or nonoperative management of LDHs, nor did operative management have a faster time to RTP. Athletes should consider the lack of difference in RTP rate in addition to the potential risks associated with spinal surgery when choosing a treatment option. Although slow and fast twitch fibers produce similar forces at slow speeds, they produce very different forces at fast speeds.
